Hope 4 Health Now is a team of dietians and nutritionists who are focused on creating healthy, sustainable habits for disabled persons.

We don’t just hand you a nutrition plan and move on — our team also guides you and your loved ones to address health concenrs and instill hope and guidance to see the nutrition goals through. 

We take away the stress and anxiety of figuring out where to start and come alongside you to guide you in the most healthful direction.

Val Mosher

Val Mosher

MDA, RDN

Valerie Mosher is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist with a Masters in Dietetic Administration. With over twelve years of experience working with the intellectually and developmentally delayed (IDD) population, she is passionate about working with clients and their care team to create and maintain a nutritional plan specific to the client’s needs. Valerie believes in a holistic approach. She combines individualized tools for a healthy diet and exercise and aids in finding the confidence and support to carry out that plan. Through cooking classes, individual nutritional coaching, and educational support, Valerie hopes to provide a high level of care that instills hope for a healthy life to the IDD community.  

Nicole Palaoro

Nicole Palaoro

Nicole Palaoro has a background in clinical dietetics, which has provided valuable experience in neonatal/intensive care nutrition, bariatric education, parenteral/enteral nutrition support and general outpatient education. Because of these various roles, she has a unique insight into the numerous medical conditions that can affect an individual’s nutrition and lifestyle. She looks forward to helping clients who may have unique, nutrition-related challenges that require in-depth assessment, step-by-step education, and creative diet solutions. Nicole is truly passionate about her work and she finds great fulfilment in empowering clients and their families to make sustainable changes that support overal well-being.

Marilu Romero

Marilu Romero

Marliu Romero graduated from California State Polytechnic Pomona University with a BS degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Her field experience began with Nutrition Ink where I completed my dietetic training. Shortly after, she was able to work for a diabetic clinic, Diabetic Care Partners (DCP) and San Gabe Regional Center. For the duration of her employment with DCP she focused on counseling, supporting, and assisting clients in achieving their health goals. Presently Marilu specializes in lifestyle choices that reduce inflammation, optimize GI health, and treat and prevent
nutrition related diseases such as high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. Over the last recent years her focus has been on improving the health of the Intellectual Developmentally Delayed population. These essential experiences have led Marilu to believe that the relationship between
food and people is a complex dynamic. At Hope 4 Health Now she is able to help people live their best life using nutrition to improve health.

ROSSANA RUVALCABA

Rossana Ruvalcaba is Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who graduated and completed her internship from California State University, San Bernardino. During her experience as a dietitian, she has worked alongside clients with concerns such as weight management, diabetes, general and renal nutrition.  Rossana strives to provide the tools to help clients reshape their nutritional habits and behaviors. She wants them to walk away feeling confident that they can achieve their goals. Rossana finds fulfillment in helping patients make and achieve sustainable goals to support a healthy lifestyle for them and their families. She loves celebrating the small successes of her clients and enjoys being their cheerleader.
